Pokemon Crystal Makes A Comeback

Pokemon Crystal was my introduction to the video gaming world at the age of 7. I remember only knowing about the television show and wondering what the games could be like. I was given a GameBoy Color in neon green on my birthday along with this game. My excitement was through the roof at finally having this game and starting my own Pokemon adventure.

Nintendo has brought back the game on the 3DS and the design has stayed true to the original. The nostalgia I felt when I loaded up the game was undeniable. Hearing the old music and seeing the animation made me feel like I was 7 again playing my first video game. This game is something that every adult needs to play to bring back the nostalgia of their childhood. Playing old gym battles, meeting trainers, and catching Pokemon that were on my original team is something that I can thank Nintendo for giving back to me.
